Matcha Dusted Chocolate Almonds

Give your dessert a major glow-up with these homemade matcha chocolate almonds — crunchy, creamy, and just fancy enough to impress (yourself or your guests). Perfect as an ice cream topper or a quick sweet snack on their own, they add the perfect bite of matcha magic.

You’ll Need:

  • Ice cream of choice (vanilla, coconut, or pistachio work beautifully)
  • A handful of whole almonds
  • ~100g white chocolate
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1–1½ tsp premium matcha powder @matchaunion
  • Optional: extra matcha powder for dusting

Method:

1️⃣ Melt the white chocolate with coconut oil in a bowl (microwave in short bursts or use a double boiler).
2️⃣ Once smooth, stir in matcha powder until fully combined and green.
3️⃣ Add almonds and toss to coat evenly in the matcha chocolate mixture.
4️⃣ Use a fork to transfer coated almonds to a parchment-lined plate and refrigerate for 10–15 minutes until set.
5️⃣ Dust with extra matcha powder for a vibrant, earthy finish.
6️⃣ Scoop your ice cream and top generously with your matcha almonds.

Why You’ll Love It:

✔️ Just a few ingredients
✔️ A delicious contrast of creamy + crunchy
✔️ Turns any dessert into a matcha moment

Pro tip: make a batch and store the almonds in an airtight container — ready to toss on yogurt, oatmeal, smoothie bowls… or straight into your mouth.
