What does Chocolate Matcha taste like?
Smooth matcha with a rich, warm chocolate finish. Not overly sweet, not artificial. The cacao rounds out the earthiness and adds depth, making it feel like a healthier, more interesting hot chocolate.
Is there added sugar?
No. The chocolate flavour comes from natural cacao flavouring only. Zero sugar, zero artificial additives.
Can I drink it without milk?
Yes, but it's at its best as a latte. The chocolate really comes alive with milk. Hot milk especially brings out the richness. With water only, it's lighter and more subtle.
How is this different from regular matcha?
Same Ceremonial Grade matcha base, with natural chocolate flavouring added. The matcha quality is the same. The chocolate adds a richer, warmer dimension.
Is it like hot chocolate?
Similar warmth and comfort, but cleaner and with matcha's calm energy instead of a sugar crash. Think of it as hot chocolate's better, healthier cousin.
Can I use it for baking or smoothies?
Absolutely. It works beautifully in chocolate smoothies, brownies, overnight oats, and banana ice cream. The chocolate flavour comes through without needing extra cocoa.
How much caffeine is in one serving?
½ teaspoon (1g) contains around 35mg. 1 teaspoon (2g) around 70mg. A cup of coffee has roughly 95mg, but matcha releases it slowly for calm, steady energy.
How long does it last?
Check the expiry date on the tin. Once opened, use within one month. Over time the colour fades and the flavour becomes less vibrant.
