🍞 You’ll Need:

  • 2 tbsp jam of your choice (we used strawberry)
  • 1.5 tbsp puffed quinoa
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 tsp strawberry matcha powder @matchaunion (finely sifted)

Optional Toppings:

  • Honey or agave syrup
  • A pinch of sea salt

🧁 Method:

1️⃣ Make the Quinoa Jam
In a small bowl, mix jam with puffed quinoa. Let it sit for 1–2 minutes to slightly thicken.

2️⃣ Make the Matcha Cream Cheese
Soften the cream cheese by stirring. Sift matcha over it and mix until smooth, silky, and green.

3️⃣ Assemble the Checkerboard
Toast your bread until lightly golden and sturdy. Using two spoons, alternate small dollops of quinoa jam and matcha cream cheese across the toast. Smooth the tops gently without mixing the colors.

4️⃣ Final Touch
Drizzle with honey or agave. Sprinkle with a tiny pinch of sea salt for balance.
