Earthy matcha, dark chocolate, and toasted marshmallow — soft on the outside, gooey in the center. A cozy classic with a green twist.

🌿 You’ll Need:
- 200 g flour
- 7 g premium matcha powder @matchaunion
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 115 g butter (room temperature)
- 120 g sugar
- 30 g brown sugar
- 1 egg (room temperature)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100 g dark chocolate chunks
- 6–8 butter biscuits
- 6–8 marshmallows
✨ Method:
1️⃣ Mix dry ingredients
Whisk together flour, matcha, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
2️⃣ Cream the base
Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
3️⃣ Combine
Fold in the dry ingredients, then gently mix in the dark chocolate chunks.
4️⃣ Build your s’mores base
On a lined baking tray, place a butter biscuit. Add a few chocolate chunks and a marshmallow on top.
5️⃣ Cover with dough
Scoop cookie dough over each biscuit stack and gently press down to seal.
6️⃣ Bake
Bake at 175°C (350°F) for about 12 minutes, until edges are set but centers stay soft.
7️⃣ Cool slightly
Let them rest for a few minutes — the marshmallow will be perfectly melty inside.
🍫 Optional Extras:
- Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top
- Torch the marshmallow lightly before serving
- Drizzle with melted dark chocolate
