This creamy matcha porridge with quick mango jam feels like sunshine in a bowl. Warm, earthy, and naturally sweet — the kind of breakfast that makes slow mornings even better.
🌿 You’ll Need:
For the Porridge:
- ½ cup oats
- 1 cup milk (any milk works)
- 1 tsp premium matcha powder @matchaunion
- 2–3 dates, chopped
For the Mango Jam:
- 1–2 tbsp mango (fresh or frozen)
- A splash of water
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp chia seeds
✨ Method:
1️⃣ Cook the porridge
Add oats, milk, matcha powder, and chopped dates to a saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
2️⃣ Simmer to creamy
Cook until thick and creamy, then remove from heat and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the mango jam
In a small pan, mash the mango. Add water, honey, and chia seeds. Cook over medium heat until thickened and jam-like.
4️⃣ Assemble your bowl
Spoon the warm mango jam over the matcha porridge.
5️⃣ Top & enjoy
