Matcha Milk Spread

This is the kind of recipe you’ll want to keep in your fridge at all times.
Silky, creamy, lightly sweet with that earthy matcha finish — perfect on toast, pancakes… or straight from the jar.


🌿 You’ll Need:

  • 80 g sugar
  • 15 g premium matcha powder @matchaunion
  • 20 g milk powder
  • 220 ml milk
  • 200 ml whipping cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 3 tbsp white chocolate chips

✨ Method:

1️⃣ Combine everything
In a saucepan, mix sugar, matcha powder, milk powder, milk, cream, and vanilla extract.

2️⃣ Heat gently
Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

3️⃣ Simmer
Lower the heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes until slightly thickened.

4️⃣ Strain for smoothness
Remove from heat, let cool for 10 minutes, then strain through a sieve for a silky texture.

5️⃣ Add chocolate
While still warm, stir in white chocolate chips until fully melted and glossy.

6️⃣ Chill & thicken
Cover and refrigerate for at least 5 hours, or overnight, until thick and spreadable.
