Christmas Tree Cookies

Get into the festive spirit with these adorable little trees. Buttery, lightly sweet, and available in both cocoa and matcha versions — perfect for gifting, decorating, or enjoying with a cozy cup of cocoa.

Holiday baking, but make it aesthetic. 🤍

🌿 You’ll Need:

  • 170 g flour
  • 110 g cold butter
  • 100 g sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder (for a smaller batch)
  • 1 tsp premium matcha powder @matchaunion (for a larger batch)

✨ Method:

1️⃣ Make the sandy base
Rub the cold butter and flour together with your hands until the texture becomes sandy and crumbly.

2️⃣ Form the dough
Add the sweetened condensed milk and mix until a smooth dough forms.

3️⃣ Divide & flavor
Split the dough into portions. Add cocoa powder to one portion and matcha powder to the other. Knead gently until evenly colored.

4️⃣ Chill
Wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.

5️⃣ Shape the trees
Roll into small balls and shape into little Christmas trees. Chill again for 30 minutes to help them hold their shape.

6️⃣ Bake
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 15 minutes, until lightly golden on the bottom.

7️⃣ Decorate & enjoy
Let cool completely, then decorate with icing, sprinkles, or edible glitter.

🎅 Optional Festive Touches:

  • White chocolate drizzle “snow”
  • Gold sugar pearls as ornaments
  • A dusting of powdered sugar for a snowy finish

Buttery, cute, and full of holiday charm — these Christmas Tree Cookies are made for cozy December afternoons. 🎄🍵✨
